Lamberto Salvan è nato nel 1973 a Padova, città dove tuttora risiede e lavora. Nel 1999 si laurea in Ingegneria Gestionale completando i suoi studi con un anno di Business Administration presso la School of Economics and Management (Lund University) in Svezia.
Ha lavorato come consulente aziendale in una importante società di consulenza diventando successivamente responsabile marketing ed estero di una società con sede in Padova.
La sua attività fotografica comincia nel 2002.
Il taglio preferito dei suoi lavori è di carattere sociale (reportage, street photography) ma anche d’introspezione umana ed esistenziale (still life, sperimentazione). Fra i fotografi che più apprezza ci sono Henry Cartier Bresson, Sebastião Salgado ed Edward Weston.

Nel 2004 con Maria Rocca e Serena Aureli pubblica il libro "La Luce e il Segno". Lo stesso anno è selezionato finalista in una delle sezioni del premio fotografico Lumix Award 2004 promosso da Panasonic Europe. Sempre nel 2004 alcuni suoi scatti sono utilizzati per un servizio su Sarajevo e sulla Bosnia trasmesso dalla RAI, Radio Televisione Italiana.
Nel 2005 realizza i videoclip e cura la fotografia per il lavoro discografico "Rosa di Venti e di Venture" del cantautore genovese Roberto Frugone.
Il suo cortometraggio "Acqua" presentato in occasione della terza rassegna internazionale di illustrazione per l'infanzia "I Colori del Sacro" fra il 2005 e il 2006 è itinerante in diverse città italiane. Lo stesso lavoro nel 2006 viene selezionato per partecipare alla seconda edizione del Mediterranean Environmental Award in Antalya (Turchia).
Nel 2008 il reportage "Fire and Ash" è presentato in Cina con una mostra personale nel contesto del China Pingyao International Photography Festival 2008, in Grecia all'Athens Photo Festival 08 (APhF:08) e contemporaneamente viene pubblicato sulle pagine della rivista internazionale di fotografia PRIVATE.
Nel 2009 con il progetto "Destination" espone in Cina per il secondo anno consecutivo al China Pingyao International Photography Festival edizione 2009.

Lamberto Salvan was born in 1973 in Padova (Italy) where still lives and works. In 1999 he graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management finalizing his studies with 1 year of Business Administration at the School of Economics and Management (Lund University) in Sweden.
He worked as management consultant inside an important consulting firm becoming later marketing and export manager for an Italian company based in Padova.
His photographic activity starts during 2002.
Favourite subjects for his work are social reportage, street photography and concerned/experimental photography. His reference photographers are Henry Cartier Bresson, Sebastião Salgado and Edward Weston.

In 2004 with Maria Rocca and Serena Aureli publish the book “La Luce e il Segno” (The Light ad the Sign). The same year is selected as finalist in one section of the Lumix photographic Award 2004 promoted by Panasonic Europe. In this period his pictures are used for a special reportage on Sarajevo and Bosnia broadcasted by the first RAI channel (the Italian National Television).
In 2005 realizes several video-clips for the record work "Rosa di Venti e di Venture" for the Italian singer and composer Roberto Frugone.
The same year his short film "Acqua" (Water) has been commissioned by the organizer of the third edition of the International Children’s Illustration Festival "I Colori del Sacro" (The Color of Sacred) and presented in different Italian museums during 2005-2006. This video was selected also for the second edition of the Mediterranean Environmental Award in Antalya (Turkey).
In 2008 the "Fire and Ash" reportage is presented in China with a solo exhibition at the China Pingyao International Photography Festival 2008, in Greece at the Athens Photo Festival 08 (APhF:08) and at the same time it is published on the international magazine of photography PRIVATE.
In year 2009 with the project "Destination" exhibited in China for the second consecutive year inside the China Pingyao International Photography Festival.
